Very good pose , eye contact and agile mood captured. This is a Male Purple Sunbird.How nice had it been with natural colours ( Is it due to over exposure)? You have clicked at right moment.Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

These birds are very small. With a smaller lens, it becomes difficult to click unless you wait for them to come close to you. If you can find a flowering plant and then sit silently, then there are chances that you can get a close up.

The eye contact is nice. It seems the light was bad. Even at 1600 ISO the shutter speed was quite less. For these birds high shutter speed is required. If this is a regular spot, you can try coming in better light. Thanks for sharing.
