100mm....:w00t: he seems to have been right next to you praveen and is quite at ease. R the tigers of bandipur giving up their secretive ways ??? I hope not .

The compo is nice. The greens give the monsoon feel and this will be even better with eye contact and a slightly more side one view.

Lovely shot, Praveen. The big guy looks absolutely adorable here :). Love the shape of the tree trunk. Very nicely composed. I don't mind the lack of eye contact, this image image has a very different, lovely feel to it.
Seeing that you shot this at 100mm, I now feel my humble macro lens has much more potential than I thought :D

Praveen,
It looks nice with all the greenery around. It is always an exciting sight watching the tiger either sniffing or scent marking its territory. I think if you were a bit to the left, then the image would have been even better. Thanks for sharing.

Abhishek,
The 100 mm macro is a very sharp lens. And in such kind of close subject distances, the 100mm will really come in handy.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Agree with comments made. The greens all around give a nice feel. This male tiger has been known as the boldest around in bandipur in recent times and approaches jeeps fearlessly.

Nice behavior captured. The slanting tree adds interest to the image. Maybe a slight less space on the left would be good. Good details and habitat. Thanks for sharing.
