Well I don't know the formula to calculate the amount of crop accurately.I think It should be around 30-40%,cropped from all sides.Thanks

Great Flight Potrait. Am wondering if either a higher ISO or even a lower Shutter speed would have allowed a sharper apreature (the trailing edges, especially around the tail seems slightly out of focus - or is the crop factor softening it up ?). Again, easier said than done, but theoritically was seeking the view of experts, more from a learning perspective. Nice eye contact and loved the composition. Thanks for Sharing.

Shutter speed as well as deth of field plays a role in the sharpness of the image. Depending upon how fast the bird is flying, the shutter speed has to be decided.

From this position it is difficult for the Sunlight to fall on the underside of the wings. It is also difficult to get the entire bird in focus from this angle.

It would have been great if the Sun was behind you. Look forward to more flight images.
