Sabyasachi the bg colors is due to red bricks in the background, the resort is under construction. Lot of birds are resident here, great place for birding.

Lovely image. The birds look pretty. I'm afraid you got too much used to your monster lens...isn't the f value supposed to be f5.6? :D Did you try to shoot with a narrower aperture like f8 and see if the second bird was to be in better focus, even if not critical focus?
