Lovely image Atul!

In all my life, I have seen this species just once. And that was just outside my balcony. There is an open field just outside my house and hearing the call, went running to find two of them strutting. That was just this year.

One can see the beautiful details in the plumage from your image. I have seen iridescent green and blue in the breast feathers of the red-wattled lapwing. The color is from the structure of the feathers rather than a color pigment. It changes with the change in direction of light.

Nice details Atul. The colors have come out well. Personally, I wish you had room for a little more space all around or at least at the bottom of the frame. Is this a crop? If so, how much?

I agree with Bhargava. Some more space all around, especially at the bottom would have strengthened the composition. The low angle is nice.
