Good to see you post here Yasir bhai :)

Nice and sharp. I like the composition as well. I'm just thinking if the overall brightness can be increased a little...

P.S: It will be great if you can avoid the border and put your copyright on the image itself. With presence of borders, writing critique to an image (judging the image, actually) becomes difficult :(

Lovely first post! I don't remember many starting with a leopard.

I like the eye contact. How much crop is this? The light was pretty low. Else, I would have suggested a slightly narrow aperture. A higher shutter speed would have been good too.

I agree with Bhargava that the thick black border hinders in critiquing.

Was it moving when you came across or were you waiting? Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

It's such a live capture and not many get luck to see this elusive cat, and very seldom poses such as this.
Well done and thanks for sharing.

Wonderfully captured and the thick greenery adds to the image.Good expression from the animal.(there is a typo in the date mentioned by you)

You have mentioned main road and so I imagine that you spotted it from your vehicle and took the picture.

@Sabyasachi Sir - This is a full frame image and he just came out of the lantana and sat there for 5 mins , then started walking and crossed the road hardly 5 ft away from the vehicle . he was infact so close that even at 100mm i was just able to fit only the face :) .
@ Bhargava - noted your concern with the thick border will take care of it in future posts .
@ Sankar - Apologies for the typo pl read it as 2010 and not 2011
