Good composition and angle.
Images looks heavily over saturated. Also details seems to have lost. Is this heavy crop from original?
If you have RAW file pls see whether you can fix saturation issue.

I agree with Dileep. Highly saturated. In nature photography, one needs to be careful else the image gets ruined.

Here you can post images with longer size at max 1024 pixels and file size less than 300kb.

The low angle is nice. Agree the colours look unnatural. Do check the calibration of your monitor so you know if the colours are getting saturated while post processing. Also a bit more space on the right would be good. You can repost the image with less saturated colours so we can check that. Thanks for sharing.

Here is corrected image, let me know how it looks. I have to work out with my RAW processing software (UFRAW for Linux) to get correct results in future.

This is much much better than the original version.

A bit lower angle would have made it more pleasing.

The second image looks better and looks good. Could you tell us what was the processing you followed for the second picture?

I did not done any PP on my first image, just cropped and resized to make it suitable for upload.
In UFraw software there are some default values for Contrast, Saturation, Gamma, Linearity and EV. There is also an option known as "Denoise" in it. For the first image all of them were set to their default or previously saved image values. I have adjusted them after getting the feedback from fellow members.

Shariq,

Personally, I always ask people to use either Lightroom 3.3 or photoshop CS5 for processing images. For some reason, they are considered standard across the globe from what I hear frequently. If using PS CS5, it is best to install the adobe camera RAW plugin that lets you open the RAW files directly.

Bhargava, I know these software but they did not work on Linux O.S since they only programmed and available for Windows O.S or Mac.
As far as I know most of the people(almost 90 %) in India use these Software( Lightroom 3.3 or photoshop CS5 ) as well as Windows O.S as Pirated(Without Legal Licenses ) or their Trail/Evaluation version(15 days or 1 month activation).

I use GPL/ GNU Software instead of using pirated software and Operating Systems. I also suggest the same to others. Here are the details of UFraw : UFRaw - Home (http://ufraw.sourceforge.net/)
