Great Wall of Trivandrum!

The Western Ghats at a distance in this picture looks imposing when you see it live.Most often they are obscured by haze and only rarely you see it so clearly.The distinct mountain in the left-centre is the Agastyakoodam,towering at 2800m.The mountains looks like giving protection like a long wall.The lake in the foreground is the Akkulam lake.This is as seen from the Akkulam bridge.The mountains are at a distance of about 40kms.......

Canon AS 540, 1/500,f4,ISO 100(Was not carrying the SLR!)

Lovely landscape. Agree the mountains do look like a great wall. The reflection in the still waters looks nice. I liked the composition. Could you get any images with the sun light less intense. Thanks for sharing the information.

Nice image. Since there was not much of drama in the sky, a pano crop with less of sky would have looked better. The Sun had become a bit hot. When you click with a DSLR, don't look at the Sun directly through the lens, else you will damage your eyes.
