Tough pose. The reason being the tail portion is closer to you, so the depth of field is not adequate. It would have been good if the bird were parallel to the camera. Thanks for sharing.

Nice perch and eye contact. Agree the DOF is not covering the head portion. What were the EXIF details? The clean background looks nice. Thanks for sharing.
