Hi,

Shot this one in Pune. It was great watching this parakeet feed itself. It was using its leg as we use our hand, removing the grains with one leg and putting it into its mouth. I had positioned myself before the bird arrived. Though it didn't perch where I expected it to but did get some decent shots from my position. Had to readjust a bit to get it clear and avoid the tall grass.

Please critique this image.

Are you using picturestyles?

I think a loose crop would have been better with slightly more space at right to get the entire stalk. These are good subjects and you can keep on trying to get an environmental image without crop.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Nice habitat displayed. Agree less space on the left and more on the right would be good. Nice colours and light. Thanks for sharing.

Sabyasachi, I use standard picture style. Is there any thing in the image that you find inappropriate?

Good that you got the bird sharp. The habitat all around is nice. Good job. Agree with comments made.
