Lovely image Prashant, the catch-light in the eye is nice and the details have come out well especially on the upper part. What was the aperture, a narrow aperture like even 8 or more would have got a higher dof, obliviously you would need to increase the iso a bit.

These birds are very cooperative hence we have opportunities to try variations in our settings. I remember once I shot the same bird in Hessarghatta and tried f4, 6.3, 7.1, 8 and finally 11:)

You got a nice eye contact. The catchlight in the eye looks nice. It is tough to get these small birds as they always appear small in the frame due to their size. Keep on trying and you should be able to get closer. Thanks for sharing.
