Pecock female

Female pecock came to my house on Diwali.

Canon EOS 7D, 100-400 mm @ 200 mm, 1/30, f 9.0, Tripod support, ISO 100, Taken at 17:08 Hours.

The sun was falling from my behind. Little color enhanced. Size reduced below 300Kb.

good you get peacocks visiting your house. It is situated outside Delhi? The eye contact is nice. It is good that you used a tripod, as the shutter speed was quite less. You could increased the ISO to atleast 400 as in 7D it hardly induces any noise. Wish the angle was less steep. Thanks for sharing.

Good to have a peacock as visitor. Which part of Delhi? One can find a number of peacocks in the various gardens in Delhi.

The depth of field is fine here.

I agree with Mrudul that you could have increased the ISO. Though you used a tripod, 1/30 shutter speed is not adequate to arrest subject motion. If the subject is still, then you can get a sharp shot.

The colours are not accurate. You need to check the white balance in your raw file.
