Hi,

Shot this in Pune. Was sitting in the bush with my camera setup on the tripod focused on the perch where this bee-eater frequently rested. Was looking for the shot with the catch and in flight. This moment was captured when it just landed on the perch. Ideally would have preferred a frame before. Did get a shot of this one with the catch in flight but with tail cut off.

Slightly higher shutter speed would have provided better freeze in this case.

Please critique this image.

Nice you got it with a catch. The eye contact is nice. If the branch behind the bird had not been present then the wings would have been more visible. The light is nice. Overall nicely captured. Look forward to more. Thanks for sharing.

Nice image of the bee-eater with prey. It is good that the bird landed facing you. Thanks for sharing.
