I am wondering what is the spot on the nose. More space would have been better as the hind leg is not fully included in the image. The rock and tree frames the head well. If you had a long telephoto lens like a 500mm then it would have been useful in creating a tight head and front leg composition. Thanks for sharing.

He is quite a large male. I have been to Bandhavgarh a couple of times, but still I have not photographed him :(. Nice you got him through the branches. Good eye contact. You could have used a narrower aperture. Thanks for sharing.

Patraji,
That spot on the nose is visible in this image only. I have close ups that do not show up this spot.
Thanks a lot for your inputs.
Regards
Anand
