You have used f3.5 aperture and 1/400th second as shutter speed.

For landscape photography, we need more depth of field. Depth of field is the portion of the scene that is in focus. At aperture of f3.5 the lens opening is more than aperture f5.6 or aperture f8. The depth of field is less when the lens opening is more. So to maximise depth of field we use f8 or f11 etc. It would have been better if you could have used an aperture of f8 and above for higher depth of field in this image. The sky portion is also bright. This scene will look good in early morning or late evenings as the light at that time is warm and golden.

We have designed the landscape section for celebrating the beauty of our wilderness. Please refrain from posting images of towns, cities, villages, hamlets or resorts in the forests.

Also, you next time you get such an opportunity, try selective focusing on the reflection, it could make a good pic, but am guessing for this you may need polarizing filter for best results.

I tried some but unfortunately never got a chance for good composition, always found either crowd or some other obstruction.
