1/50 shutter speed is not adequate to arrest subject motion, especially with small birds which are more agile. How much of a crop is this?

Reducing the saturation will strengthen the image. Thanks for sharing.

The light was pretty bad in the early morning. I did not want to increase the ISO beyond 400 and hence had to reduce shutter speed. Yes this bird is quite agile and restless but for some reason it sat still for a few minutes allowing me a few shots.
This is approximately 70 % the size of the original image. I shot from a distance of about 15-20 feet.

Cute bird. Agree with Sabyasachi. Wish the angle from which you were shooting was less steeper.

Cute bird. The composition is nice. It is good you were using tripod, else at 1/50 it would have been difficult. You can try to set up hide and wait, that will help to get closer to birds. Thanks for sharing.
