Eq used: Canon 400D, 300mm f4 + 1.4tc
PP done: Vertical crop, levels adjusted, a little bit of sharpening.

Deepak,
From this position it is tough to get the entire bird covered by depth of field.
Why only ISO 200? I feel a higher shutter speed would have been much better here in terms of sharpness. Of course large crop and higher ISOs don't go well.
The colours look a bit off? Or may be it is because I have been continously starring at the screen for a long time. Thanks for sharing.

Nice preening pose. The eye contact and the catch light is nice. Agree you could have used a higher ISO. The diagonal composition looks nice. Thanks for sharing.

@Sabyasachi: A vertical crop and nothing more. But yes, especially the 400D is too noisy above ISO 400. I surely should have gone for a slightly higher fnum for this shot to get the DOF right. Colours are as was when the pic was taken.
