Remembering B2

Posting this image of B2 as requested by Anandji after hearing the news that he is dead. Have always had a special bond with him as I started my photography with him in 2007.

Sad news indeed. He was a fine male that lived long. He will be missed by many. The cycle has just only repeated, with B2 killing his father Charger in 2000 and now he dying in the hands of his own son (this is as reported to me by a friend from B'garh).

Ohh he was climbing up. Nice one with catch light in the eye. In his prime, he was a big fellow. I had the pleasure of many interactions with him.

I am not sad for him. However, I am sad looking at the way the Tiger Reserve has degenerated and continuing its slide.
