I agree with the composition. Tough to shoot at ISO 1600 due to the noise. The thick black border is a distraction for online critiquing of images. What was the shutter speed?

Cheers,

Shutter speed 1/400s
It was shot on a misty morning, the light was very low so i shot at ISO 1600.

Good composition.Snap taken under difficult condition. Tail area appears to have lost much of the details. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

Nice environment photograph. I think slight lesser shutter speed of 1/200 would have sufficed (provided the vehical was not moving), so you could have used a lesser ISO to reduce the noise. Is this one from the big pack of dholes? Thanks for sharing.

There were about 20 wild dogs as soon as they us us approaching they ran into the bushes. After waiting for a few seconds 1 came out of the bushes and gave us a chance to click few images.

Well composed. Please try to post images without border :) A pack of 20 dogs in Bandipur!! Now, that's some news! It's been more than a couple of years that I've heard of such a large pack from bandipur...last month though, we were lucky enough to witness a pack of 10 dogs crossing over to the bandipura side from Mudumalai. however, after that, there has been no news of that pack being seen in the tourism zone of bandipur.

When we were making our entry at the reception at 6:35am.We could hear alaram call of spotted deer & our jeep driver rusded to the road just opposite to the reception thinking that it was a tiger. As soon as we entered that road we saw about 15 dholes resting near the rock to the left and other were playing.Seeing our approach they disappeared into the bushes. After waiting for few minutes they slowly started comming out and gave us chance to click few shots.
