We were on our way back from Gavi,a beautiful place in the Periyar Tiger Reserve.Unfortunately we couldnt get full view of the animals...

Thanks for your comments Mrudul and Sabya,

Mrudul there was no way for the elephats to come towards us as a river separated us from the animals with steep banks.It was an ideal location to take pictures.The elephants moved away from us after some time.

Sabya,we took the Vandiperiyar-Vallakadavu-Gavi route.We wanted to come out of Gavi by taking the Pathanamthitta route but decided against it after seeing the very bad condition of the roads...
