The catch light looks good. Nice that you got it with the grain (?). It blends with the habitat nicely. Is this full frame? Slight less space in the foreground and a bit more on the right would be good. Thanks for sharing.

As you mentioned, i also liked the way the bird blended with the bg.To add to all the beauty it had a small grain in its beak, which i presume could be a small piece of stone as well which it mistook for a grain.

I think it is a small pebble. Eye contact is fine. Looks like a large crop? With a small subject like this it becomes difficult to approach closer beyond a point. There are sharpening artifacts. Can you tell us what processing you have done to the background, foreground.
