This image of mine was shortlisted for Wildlife Image of the year at NSN for 2008. I was lucky enough to be considered for the award, NSN being a global platform for some very talented nature photographers was an added bonus.
Ultimately it was chosen from a vast group of nature photographers' work over 2008, especially Marsel Van Oosten's images, and won. Needless to say, I was very happy to represent India's minority Tiger population and help spread the awareness and magic of this most magnificent cat that has ever graced our planet.
Long Live The Tiger !
Technical Details:
Canon EOS 20D, 70-200 f/4 with Kenko 1.4x tele, at 280 mm, Av mode, ISO 400, at f/5.6, handheld.
Sorry about the low quality of the jpeg.
Regards,
Kiran
