Photographed in Bandhavgarh a long time ago. EOS 5, 300f4 IS, Sensia 100 on Aperture Prioirty. Scanned with Nikon Coolscan V ED.
I could not avoid the cut ear since our elephant was right next to the cub at Amanalla.
Comments and critiques welcome.
Thanks for looking!

curious & innocent expression & beautiful capture...wished eyes would also be clearly visible. But i think everything in controlled environment is not possible in wildlife photography :).

nice looks, but for me it seems oversaturated

Apana,
The shape of the curved rock is nice. Innocent fellow.
Too bad the elephant was close. Having the complete ear would have been great. The vertical rock seems to be a bit green. Is it due to some out of focus vegetation? Reducing the saturation and contrast a bit will strengthen the image. Thanks for sharing.

Yes there is a lot of OOF vegetation. The elephant was having a whale of a time feeding and was constantly swaying. This was one of the few sharp shorts.
No saturation has been added to the image. It was shot in late afternoon light.
