Cute bird. The eye contact is nice. The low angle looks good. How big crop is this, as there is loss of details. You can try to slowly approach the birds, or sitting at one place and waiting might also help to get them closer. Thanks for sharing.

Agree with Mrudul. The bird looks lovely. I think you could have easily gone to ISO 200 to get a high shutter speed. I'm saying this because, technically speaking, it gets slightly tough to handhold a non-IS lens at less than 1/focal length of shutter speed (1/400 sec).

Nice photo of this cute bird.It appears,to my mind,to be a Male Common Stonechat (Collard Bushchat)-Race: Saxicola przewalkii of the Himalayas migrated to Bhopal during winter.Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

I agree with the previous comments. If the sharpness is not good, then you lose out on the resolution as well.

Were you clicking at ISO 100 as you were planning to crop this?
