Please pass on your C&C. I personally believe that catch light in the eyes would be added great value to the image.

Lovely wing spread. The details and the colours are nice. Good that you used f9. Agree catch light would have added to the composition. Nicely captured. How is birding at TG Halli? Thanks for sharing.

Good one Prashant!

How come you got it close? The wing spread is nice. If it had turned its head slightly away from you, then you would have got the catchlight in the eye. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Sabyasachiji,

Thanks for your valuable comments. I was standing on an elevation and kites were circling me couple of times I tried to follow them while keeping in focus which gave me an idea of its path and then it came close and clicked the shutter. Good that I was hand holding my camera and could make the necessary adjustments.

Mrudulji,

This was my last visit to T G Halli (30/10/2011) and after that I haven't been there. On this day, I could spot Brahminy Kite (both adult & Juv), black kite, Grey Heron, River Tern, Egret, etc but no other raptors.
