I know this pic is not sharp enough and close enough. But it was a nice experience seeing 2 Hornbills flying above the tree top and making lot of noise(which I think is visible in the photo!!!).This was at Gavi in the Periyar Tiger Reserve.......

The wing spread looks nice. Wish you were closer and the light was better. Thanks for sharing.

Here the habitat is nice, the photographer with an artist's eyes composed the photograph with a bird whose wings are moving like a propeller(within a semi -circle).Its a nice conception and a rare image,in my view. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Nice one Shankar, it is always a treat to watch the Pied Hornbills, not sure but this looks like the Great Indian Hornbill. Agree with comments made, you seem to have had an amazing trip.

Sankar,
I agree that the shutter speed was low and the image is cropped. However, this image gives an idea about the place. The habitat looks nice. Watching such majestic birds fly in the canopy gives a nice feeling. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
