Did you do any noise reduction? Opening up the shadows and lowering the contrast a bit will also help. Thanks for sharing.

Nice eye contact, features have come well. The Stripenecked Mongoose is much heavier than the Common Mongoose, capable of praying on animals equal to or larger than its own size,localised along the Western Ghats.

M.Krishnan has seen this mammal chasing a young chital fawn in Mudumalai but could not photograph it.Gajanan Bhai ,you have accomplished it.Sankar Bhai has already acknowledged it.
However,such a brave mammal showing a bewildered expression in its eyes,might be it is under too much pressure from us,saddens my mind.
