Tried some wide compositions during the Lunar eclipse that occurred on 10th Dec. Here you can see the copper colour of the moon in the image.

I included the manmade water tank as part of the composition. If it violates the rules of the form, please have the post removed. :)

Canon EOS 7D, 18-55mm at 21mm, Tripod Mounted
SS 11" (Manual Focus)
f/3.5
ISO 400

Comments and Critiques welcome.

Nice attempt. As a wide perspective of the night sky, this image does look interesting. However, if shooting the lunar eclipse was the objective, then I would say the water tank and the bright lights at the bottom right corner draw attention away from the moon. There appear to be 3 distant cable pylons (?) visible near the lower edge. The image would have better without them, perhaps you could clone them out (if cloning is fine with you :))

Hi Abhishek,
Agree with you that the lunar eclipse does get overpowered by the lights and the big 'lollypop'. I did notice the power cable hoists however I don't clone so I preferred to let them be as they didn't attract much attention in my opinion. The foreground elements definitely overpower the scene so I guess the concept didn't work well. This was how I saw the scene sitting on a hillock that night :)
Need to keep working harder!!!

Could we have the wider perspective,if the very essence of the photograph is lost ! tfs. SaktiWild
