Black Ibis Pseudibis papillosa Close up... Shot at local Lake at evening.

With Canon 550D, Tamron 70-300mm
F:5.6
ISO:400
SS:1/1250s
Focal length:300mm ( Little close to Bird.)
Only 10 % Crop. Hand held.

I Did not take the shot with head turned to me. The the sun rays are in opposite direction.. And if head turned to me its come totally black. so I decided to take this angle shot..And After all, I get single shot of this bird because I am little close.:D

The image is too dark for me. The shadow and blacks have lost details. Wish there were more details in the body. A narrow aperture would have been better.

The lighting was difficult maybe moving a bit more to the right would have helped. Composition wise it is better to have the subject coming into the frame than moving out of the frame as in the present situation. Agree about the details. Thanks for sharing.
