Handheld and cropped 50%. Since I could not go closer to the bird and as suggested in the previous post, ended up cropping horizontally. Please pass on your C&C.

Nice head turn and eye contact. The horizontal composition looks fine. Are the birds not coming closer in Hasserghatta? As I remember, we used to drive quite close to them before. Thanks for sharing.

It depends. Sometimes they really allow you go close by and sometime they are very shy. Moreover, some guys have started para-gliding over there and thats causing some trouble too :(

Paragliding?
I just don't know what to say. On one had the grasslands are dug up and being destroyed by tree plantations etc and on the other hand paragliding.

I don't know what to say, but its true. I had been there on two successive weekends on both the occasion I could see them :(
Few folks were talking about complaining about it, don't know what happened after that.
