There is lot of noise and loss in details. It would be good if it is far away that you try to create a environment composition that crop more than 50%. Thanks for sharing.

In situations where the 100-400 lens is short ie. when the subject is far off, it is better to try to create environmental images. Just cropping heavily to show the subject doesn't result in a good image. In a closeup photo like this one, we will always look for details in the subject. Heavy cropping will not give you details in the subject. So better to try to click images according to the strength of this lens. It would be good to create environmental images that tells us about the habitat.
