Rahul your image are really good and you do really gr8 job with s3IS. for perticular this image i would suggest you to level the horizon which is going down.

rest is beautiful frame.

I didn't see the previous image, so can't comment on it. My suggestion is to keep the original, and then do the changes and repost. The subsequent visitors to the thread would then be able to understand and follow the discussion.

It is good that birds are flying towards you rather than away from you. Some more birds flying in the sky would have been great.
I have never been there but have heard that there are huge flocks. Also I would like a wide angle shot showing lots of birds. This image doesn't give the impression of thousands of cranes flocked together.

You are putting that camera to good use.

Thanks for your kind words. I think you've heard about Khichan (Rajasthan) but this one is Ramnagar of Gujarat. Very small village near my home :)

Have include both the image to see the difference... Hope you like it...

this is really a good correction and i wish you also liked that change. This horizon level correction gives birds more room and prominence.
