Nice display of habitat. Seems the river has dried up. The light looks a bit harsh, what time was this clicked? Thanks for sharing.

Bijrani has always been special to me. It was the first time i saw a tiger in the wild at kamarpatta near bijrani. This image brings back those memories. Of the few times I have been to corbett i always remember this part of ramganga with water either at low level or slightly more than low. Sad that its drying up nowadays :(.

Anton,
I have had some great times in Bijrani.

The foreground in this image is dark ie the trees are in shadows and dont add up to the image. Since it is clicked with the camera angled downwards, there should have been some subject to hold our interest in the grassland. More so, because the sky is not visible and whatever little of the sky is there in the image has no drama ie. no colours and details. So this composition doesn't work for me. For landscapes we need to move around a bit to find a good composition. Unfortunately, in these forests we don't have the luxury to move around much or climbdown from this position etc. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi
