Av mode ,ISO- 320, 1/800 sec, f/7.1, EC-0, 50% Cropped. Critics are welcome.

Wish the head was parallel to you. Lowering the contrast would have been better as the blacks have lost details. Is it in some lake? ISO 320? Is it a deliberate choice or was it accidental?

The calling pose looks nice. Agree an head turn towards you would have enhanced the composition further. A think there is a slight tilt, you can try to correct it. Thanks for sharing.

It is not a lake ,but it is a dead mines , ISO 320 was not deliberately chosen but to improve the shutter speed and fear of high iso noise after 400, Always tries to keep within ISO 200. Situation was difficult to position at parallel to bird.
