Seems you were sitting very close to it, so the angle is quite steep and it was agitated. It would be good if you keep some distance as to not make the animal agitated, also you can approach them once they are more comfortable. You could have tried to get a lower angle by lying flat on the ground if possible. Thanks for sharing.

I agree that a lower perspective would have been interesting. The shutter speed was low. What time was this clicked? In the early morning?
