lovely clear image even when handheld.You could have included the head in the shadow if not a full frame.

Lovely eye contact. The walking pose looks nice. Its good you got it in the open. A higher shutter speed would have been good to freeze the motion and some more details. Is this full frame? Thanks for sharing.

Suraj - Excellent observation & thanks for suggestion, I could have included the full shadow since the image is not full frame.

Mrudul - not a full frame image, ideally a higher shutter speed would have been good, but I had no time to even look at my settings. This guy was quick to cross the safari road.

You got the eye contact right and the fowl parallel to the sensor. I agree that more space in front to include the complete shadow would have strengthened the image. 500mm focal length in a APS-H sensor camera often falls short for jungle fowls and other birds. Thanks for sharing.
