Good close up.The dry trunk has caused obstruction, but it has contributed to the image as the elephant is seen with a new pose.Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

This guy is quite a character. I remember sighting him a few times last year, and once he forced us to drive our vehicle in reverse for a good kilometer! I haven't heard of any sightings of this makhna for a couple of months now!

The tree gives a different look to the image. The pose and the eye contact is nice. Did you try a vertical? You could have also used a narrower aperture to get more DOF and more details as the light seems to be good. Thanks for sharing.

It would have been great if you were a few feet to the right. Then the fallen tree would have added to the composition.
