Dear All,

Warm wishes for the new year to all.

Made this image at the Dhikala Chaur in Corbett national Park in May 2011 with my old favourite, the panasonic FZ18.

f4, 1/160, ISO 100.

Cropped a bit for pano composition and corrected a slight tilt.

Look forward to comments.
Regards

Dipankar

Happy New year...!!

Nice landscape. The road leads the eye into the image. Some colours or clouds in the sky would have enhanced the image further. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more from Corbett.

Nice image. The vegetation seems to be less. Not sure whether its been burnt down or the low growth is slowly becoming natural. I remember the grasslands being quite dense 5 yrs back. Infact in my last trip along this path we could feel the movement of the tiger but could not see it because of the dense vegetation.

Nice image. An elephant in the distance would have added another dimension. Did you see any elephants? How come you used the panasonic?

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Dear Sabyasachi,
Indeed we saw Elephants, but not in this parspective.
The 50D was occupied with the 300f4, Hence panasonic.
Cheers
