If this is a 50% crop, I'd have liked a smaller crop and prefer to see the whole bird. Was the focus point near the eye or elsewhere?

I agree, due to the crop there is loss of details. Cropping the image is like wasting what you have clicked. So it would be good if you can post the image with less crop and probably with more of the bird. Thanks for sharing.

I feel to show the largeness of the bird you might have cropped it. Maybe the whole image would not portray the size as one would like it.

Murugan , Bhargava & Mrudul for your suggestion and coments. The image was not full ,leg was slightly cut off while capturing as you know this bird is very active in field . Here is another full frame image of this bird.
