Well I hate photographing man made elements and also the idea of this site is to promote the beauty of our wild places. However, this image is different as it has a meaning - Nature reclaims back and am allowing to remain after a lot of thought.

When we abandon buildings, places etc, nature reclaims it back. Just leave nature alone, and the forest would regenerate to a great extent. Unfortunately in most of the places, we are devastating our wild places much beyond the regenerating capacity of nature.

Every year, thousands of crores of rupees is lost in terms of distribution losses by our state electricity boards. A portion of that is due to the trees touching the power lines. This is not the place to talk about it. For further details check the diary posting:

I like the composition. The clouds also add to this image. Higher depth of field would have been nice.

Dear All,
Please refrain from posting images of towns, cities, hamlets, wildlife resorts, buildings and other man made structures and objects in the landscape section.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi
