Spot Billed Duck

This was shot in Mangalajodi. They form the marshlands bordering Chilika Lake in Odisha. It is one of the best wetland habitats in the country in my opinion. This year, in winter more than 200 species of birds (Resident and migratory) were recorded.

Nice flight pose. Seems it was quite close to you. The eye contact is nice. I think reducing the saturation a bit would be good. I would have liked a bit more space on the top. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely. The motion blur of the wing tips looks good. Love the BG greens too. Have you boosted the saturation/colour temperature?

I processed this on an uncalibrated monitor and it looked ok at the time. Guess I needed to pull back a little bit as per actual colours.
