Shot this in Pune, along the coast of river Mula. It was gliding in air before it could land on a perch.

Very nice Atul! Love the pose captured. Nicely exposed too. A little more of the tree of the perch would have enhanced the image in my opinion... did you shoot in bursts?

Nice one. I think a higher shutter speed would have been even better. One can see the tail feathers spread out nicely.

Abhishek, generally I shoot in burst for action but did not shoot in burst on this occasion. Have been observing this bird for quite a while now, this has been helped me to understand what it is going to do. Still lots to learn:)
