Elephants Crossing......Recorded by Photographers

A strongly bonded family of 10 elephants crossed this spot at Mule Hole carefully in turn.2 young tuskers were very playful,and 2 baby elephants, very carefully monitored by their mothers.Plenty of photographers on both sides of the "crossing path",majority of them mobile-camera ones.......

Nice record. Its good to see the elephants were able to cross in peace. I agree the mother doesn't look very healthy. I have seen lot of elephants having conflicts while crossing in Bandipur and Madhumalai area. Thanks for sharing.

The elephants are very understanding and often ignore unruly tourists. It is becoming difficult for the elephants to get good forage and good quality water. That is affecting their health.
