overcast sky & the flock of birds. they came right across the road that i was travelling on, they appeared to be in hurry so i lost no time. pulled out 7D with 100-400mm on and fired. later i discovered the parameters as this, F/5.6, 1/350, iso 800, EC +1, fl 400mm & shutter priority mode. ID of the bird not known. image is cropped. for C&C please.

Lovely colours on the bird. With the kind of bird wealth in your area you should get yourself a Feild guide for birds ASAP.

Lovely colours. Quite rare to sight or photograph these birds. You did well in the given conditions. Its good you had a high ISO set, else it would have been difficult to photograph. Thanks for sharing.
