The guy was grazing near the back waters, and later he suddenly charged at us. I managed to make a video that will & try and upload on FB. I know it's a tight frame, ideally a zoom lens was needed to capture him in full.

It becomes a challenge to photograph a elephant with a tele lens if it is very close. You could have tried to include only the forelegs with more space on the left. The details are nice. Thanks for sharing.

I agree that it is tough to get the huge frame of an elephant when you are clicking with a tele lens. Either we need to backoff or use a lower tele or a zoom lens.

Good to see a tusker like this one here.These are the only animals who makes us long for a shorter lens!

Praveen how was the post processing done.Did you try to brighten darker areas in the frame(like the area near the right hind leg?)......And whats FB.Iam eagre to watch the video.....

Shankar - FB is Face Book Incompatible Browser | Facebook (www.facebook.com), a social networking site. I have havent increased the brightness, very basic PP has been done in Lightroom.
