This british bird was seen in Bharatpur during my visit in December 11. The light was not very good during the mysty morning.

Taken with 7D using 100-400 L, F8.0, 1/500s, iso 1250, AV mode, I could not notice the high ISO as this bird was very active and shy. AV mode. Spot metering.

The perch and the eye contact is nice. I think the focus is locked on the branch, please check the AF point. Agree a lower ISO would have sufficed. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with Mrudul that the critical focus is not on the bird. Eye contact is fine. British bird?
