A pathway in Matheran that passes through verdant forest and ultimately leads to the marketplace of the town. A notable feature of Matheran is that no motor vehicles are allowed there.

Hand held. You will notice some (unintented) camera shake if you look closely.
Slight crop from the top to remove some sky highlights.
Deepened the blacks a little in PP to give it a darker feel.

The image gives a nice feel of the dense jungle. I think a slight crop from the bottom part would be good, also that will remove the un-focused area. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely image Abhishek. Its good that you managed to get a shot when people were not around. This is you second matheran image in the recent past, and my wife has also been pestering me to take her there. Looks like its happening now :)

Murugan, this area rarely has any people... it is mostly only a few locals who take this path in the mornings and evenings. Never seen tourists on this path.
(If you need to know, it is the path leading towards the town main road & railway tracks from behind Woodlands Hotel. It is quite a good trail for birding.) Hope you enjoy your trip :).
