Very nice. The details on the feathers look lovely. I can see a bit of noise, guess it is because you exceeded your usual ISO limit. Which species is this? Would like to see the colour version too.

Nice work, nice feeling about B/W era.Whitout seeing coloured version,it appears to be Franklin's Nightjar (Caprimulgus affinis).Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

I am not good at nightjars. I will only be able to access my books tomorrow and then I will be travelling again. Uploading colour version of the image.

I have used ISO 5000. You get lot of grains. The nightjar was in shade and there was lot of fog. Visibility was very poor.

Beautiful Image with nice perspective. Loved the thorny branch comming out from the center of the frame. Details in the feathers so well doccumented. Thanks for sharing.
