it was cloudy & this bird (Great Tit, my recently acquired book, Oxford Birds of Indian subcontinent, recommended by Saktipadaji, says it all) caught an insect apparently a moth & shook it violently. shot from my verandah with 7D + 100-400, f/5.6, 1/500, iso 640, EC +0.7, AV mode, fl 400mm. pic is cropped.

Good to know that you have picked the book. Without the vine (?) just behind the bird in the back, it would have been great. Thanks for sharing.

Wish you were closer to the bird. As Sabyasachi mentioned, the vertical vine is a bit distracting. I might try tweaking the colour temperature a little bit.

Nice you got it through the two branches. Slight less space on the left would have been good. The catch adds to the image. Thanks for sharing.
