Seagulls

Went in search of flamingoes but could not find any in Uran. Saw a lot of sea gulls. Particularly liked the different flight positions and wing spreads of these birds.

Nikon D3100, F/8, SS 1/1000, ISO 200, 70-300 lens, focal length 110mm.

Nice flight shot, you could have zoomed to 300mm and shot only few birds that would have ensured more details.

Nice image. Nice to see so many sea gulls. It is quite difficult to photograph a flock of birds in flight. Thanks for sharing.

I was kind of dejected at not being allowed to get into the private government area to observe the flamingoes in Uran, but as I was returning i saw these gulls.Immediately stepped out of my vehicle and tried to click whatever I could.

I like the wide frame here with many birds. I feel it gives us a sense of numbers. Gulls are often sighted in the thousands on beaches and mudflats. Often the patterns look nice when a large group in flight is photographed.
